You might know that, members of our lab have developed the Short Scale of Creative Self (SSCS; Karwowski et al., 2018) - a widely-utilized scale of Creative Self-Efficacy and Creative Personal Identity comprising Creative Self-Concept. You can use it free of charge in your research, just remember to cite the authors.
We also authored Polish version of the SSCS Scale for Polish speakers. If you are searching for another version, there are published adaptations of SSCS in different languages by other researchers worldwide.
Creative potential alone does not suffice to propel creative activity. That is why Karwowski and Beghetto (2019) coined the Creative Behavior as Agentic Action Model, postulating that Creative Confidence and Creative Centrality are required alongside creative potential for an individual to perform creatively.
Creative Self Regulation can be measured on different stages of creative process: Forethought, Performance and Self-Reflection. Zielińska and colleagues (2022) differentiated 7 factors behind self-regulation on each of the stages, considerably advancing the research in the field. Here you can find both English and Polish versions.
